Corned tuna

According to Mr. Wikipedia of Google, the word "corn" in corned beef refers to the "corns" or grains of coarse salts used to cure it. The Oxford English Dictionary dates the usage of "corn", meaning "small hard particle, a grain, as of sand or salt." The term "corned beef" can denote different styles of brine-cured beef, depending on the region. And thus, corned tuna was also born for the healthy buff persons like me.

Corned tuna has been recently available in the supermarket. The pioneer brand is San Marino manufactured by Foodsphere, Inc. Lately, Century has released its own.

Checking the prices of the two brands, I went to SM Fairview Supermarket to check them out. The product indorsers of San Marino Corned Tuna is the Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes while Derek Ramsey indorses the Century Corned Tuna brand.

Both have almost the same prices. For Php 25.00 and Php30.00 or 29.75 for the bigger.
