Yesterday I find my wondering soul in the town of Morong province of Rizal.
Scales fell off from my eyes. I'ts a sight to behold. The St. Jerome Church aka San Geronimo aka Morong Church was built in 1615 by the Chinese artisans and craftsmen. It was later reconstructed by an indio master from Paete, Bartolome Palatino.
The church is guarded at the entrance by two Chinese stone lions similar to the ones in San Agustin Church.
The Church has three storey facade and an octagonal bell tower or belfry topped with a cross.
