In the northernmost periphery of Manila lies the former part of the Rizal province which is Novaliches or as I and the rest of my neighbours and friends fondly call her, Supernovaliches from the British rock band, Oasis classic rock song-"Champagne Supernova".
Supernovaliches is rich in history as she is one of the witness of the great Katipuneros while planning their attacks.
Supernovaliches area is divided that's why there are portions that are Quezon City and the smaller area which is part of Kalookan City.
There was a time when a referendum took place. That was to create Novaliches as a city.
