higantes festival 2o13

nov 22-23 is the feast day of st clement - the patron saint of the fishermen. this is my second time to attend the annual Higantes Festival. though i usually visit Angono Rizal because of my paternal aunt who lives in dona justa subd. right below the Balaw Balaw restaurant. my aunts location is elevated and i could clearly see the laguna de bay and marvel the golden sunset!!!

i went around and recognized that the altar of st clement parish church has been renovated. intricate golden wood carvings dominated the altar and the life size papa god is still there. i prayed too.

nemiranda's atelier gallery was closed and blanco museum is open. 1oo pesos entrance fee. groups are discounted to 7o.

i went further to the wawa or lakeside. unfortunately, the place is flooded or just high tide. captured some precious moments with nature which is priceless. even if the water is murky, there are chikdren swimming and teen agers strolling around the lake shore. there was even a banca or boat. then, it drizzled... and rained...

bought suman sa ibos and cashew nuts for pasalubong back home.

i even said to myself. there are really good concepts and ideas for picture taking. naisip ko tuloy bakit si mark joseph tajo solis, kailangan nya pa mag plagiarize? tsk tsk tsk
