Arabela, Camello Bakeshop and Coffee shop, Liliw, Laguna
This popular and well-loved restaurant needs no further introduction as anyone can't miss it once you are in the quaint town of the slippers aka Liliw, Laguna.
Arabela was named after Ara and Bela- the two daughters of Bobby and Tonet Camello. Their foods are superb and even the classier Italianni's in Greenbelt can be surpassed. Not only that, their menus are quite affordable. I have always wanted to taste the famous Baked Mac but I always missed it everytime I am there. Last Sunday, I went there and had the chance to taste the Beef Lasagna. OMG!!! It's superbly divine. You can even see bits of bacon in it topped with the mozarella cheese! Infact, I had ordered an extra one- take out for my one and only bro- Glenn Angelo, who shares the same passion for pasta like his big sis. ;P
My first visit here in Liliw was last Holy Thursday when I had my first out of town visita iglesia. I opted for the Laguna Loop. I welcome the idea as I wanted to see the old churches of Laguna.
As I was observing around to familiarize myself, I walked to an alley, left side of the Policarpio's white ancestral abode. Further at the end, you will see a cute, cozy, low-ceiling restaurant which is always occupied with people. You will be surprised in one of your visits, not only locals do patronize but foreigners as well. This has a 20 seaters capacity which can provide an intimate lunch or dinner for everyone. If planning to take your dinner, please make your reservations ahead of time.

The King of Pop is dead!!!
Dear all,
As the cliche goes, when America sneezes, the world catches cold. And then, when the King of Pop is dead, the whole world mourns. And long before Ophrah and even President Barack Hussein Obama had successfully crossed over, Michael was the pioneer.
I was totally shocked and devastated the moment I heard the news last night! OMG! Michael Joseph Jackson is dead! I can't believe it! He is still in his prime. He could have been 5=1 this August 29.
I was barely three years old, when I heard the song "Ben". My mum usually sang it for me or eventually I was listening to it as I grow older. That song was also one of our neighbour's favourite. Over the years, it was followed by "Beat It", "Thriller", ""Rock It". "Man in the Mirror", "Heal the World", etc. Oh yeah, his signature moves that is moonwalking and robot together with his white mittens and white socks. They are soo cool! Infact, he was a trendsetter too.
I became one of his million of fans and in fact, when he had a concert here in the Phils. last December 1996, I watched him together with my younger brother, Glenn, who is also a fan of MJ. We took the long walk along the Asiaworld in Paranaque. And its worth it. We saw him at last and we are very happy!!! The concert was not enough as we wanted more but of course, it has to end and ever since then on, we hope and prayed that someday, he will be back here in our country and charm us once again. Did you know that even the former first lady- Imelda Romualdez Marcos has graced the much awaited event and watched it?
All about the controversies and bad publicities hurling at him, I was affected. Why? It's because I can relate to him. Once you are famous and popular, you are alone at the top. And some people around him took advantage of him and how my heart ached and bleed!!!
Now, that he is gone, he has left a legacy to the world and that is his music. To you my dear idol, Michael Joseph Jackson, who will be ALWAYS definitely missed and remembered.
